Representatives from our partnering agencies in Greenville come to share information and discuss volunteering opportunities with students. A great opportunity for students to discover their perfect volunteering match in Greenville.
Fall Fest
Saturday, October 29, 2011, 2pm-5pm, E Field and around campus
The campus comes together to provide a day of games, trick-or-treating through the dorms, and other fun activities for local elementary aged school children. Students get festive by dressing up in fun costumes, too!
Holiday Giving Tree
Tuesday, December 6, 2011, trees placed around campus
Cards are placed on Christmas trees around campus where students can select something to purchase for an agency to distribute to needy individuals. An annual luncheon is held for our agencies where we distribute the purchased items. (date displayed is date of the luncheon...donations will be collected in prior weeks)
Exceptional Adults' Valentine's Dance
Tuesday, February 7, 2011, 7pm-8:30pm, Younts Conference Center
This is a favorite night where local individuals with special needs come to the Furman campus to have an evening of dancing, singing, and dinner with students. Students enjoy a night of dressing up and dancing away stress through this fun night that the participants look forward to all year.
